Pruning

Proper pruning is both an art and a science. It shapes the structure of your trees and shrubs, promotes healthy growth, removes hazardous deadwood, and improves light penetration to the plants beneath. Our crews are trained in ANSI A300 pruning standards and know exactly where, when, and how to make each cut.

We prune according to each species' natural growth habit and seasonal timing. Spring-flowering shrubs get pruned after bloom; summer-flowering trees get winter dormancy pruning. Evergreen hedges are shaped multiple times during the growing season to maintain clean lines and dense foliage.

Every pruning job includes clean-up — no branch litter left behind. We chip larger material on-site and haul away all debris. For trees over 15 feet, we bring in our certified climbing crew with proper safety gear and liability insurance.
